Hairy Harry Couldnt Hurry: An Imaginarium Of Imaginactions That Take Place In The Hot Days Of Summer
Dr. Victor M. Bello, an ophthalmologist, drew inspiration for his children’s book from a touching moment with his two young sons, Victor and Vincent. One day, while they played in their backyard treehouse, he noticed them staring curiously into a corner. Worried it might be a wasp nest, he went to check—and instead discovered a spider web glistening beautifully under the sunlight filtering through the trees. That simple moment sparked the idea for a story, and he invited his sons to join in the creative process. Together, they imagined and developed playful ideas they called “Imaginactions,” turning their vivid thoughts into storytelling magic. At just 2½ and 4 years old, the boys helped create what became their own little “Imaginarium.” The collaboration was a joyful experience for Dr. Bello, who writes under the pen name “Bello.” From this came Hairy Harry Couldn’t Hurry, the first adventure of a charming, timeless spider and his young friends, Victor and Vincent. More delightful episodes are on the way. Dr. Bello now resides in Mobile, Alabama, where he continues to practice ophthalmology part-time.

Hairy Harry's Summer Party
Dr. Victor M. Bello is an ophthalmologist who wrote this Dh children‛s book inspired by the sensibility of his two young boys Victor and Vincent. They were playing in the backyard at their tree house when papa observed them watching intently at one of the corners of the treehouse. Thinking that they could be watching at a wasp nest, father went at once to investigate. What Papa saw was the moment of inspiration to write about it. A spider web, under the rays of the sun, filtering to the trees, made it sparkle. I started writing but I wanted their help. They came up with great ideas to embellish the story. We called our descriptions "Imaginactions". Essentially, that means Imagined actions emerging from the fertile imagination of two boys who were 2,5 and 4 years of age at the time, well mine too. It was very rewarding to engage the boys in the production of this book. Dr. Bello has adopted the pen name "Bello" and that is how "Hairy Harry Couldn‛t Hurry" was born. More episodes are in the making and the reader is certain to enjoy the development of more adventures of our friendly, ageless spider. Dr. Bello now lives in Mobile, Alabama where he works part time in his beloved specialty of ophthalmology.
